Geography
The township is in the southwestern part of Elk County and is bordered by Jefferson County to the southwest. 13.4 miles of the wild and scenic Clarion River flows through Spring Creek Township from east to west. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 64.4 square miles, of which 63.6 square miles is land and 0.69 square miles is water.
Demographics
The current population is approximately 198 residents. As of the census of 2000, there were 260 people, 111 households, and 77 families residing in the township. The population density was 4.1 people per square mile. There were 634 housing units at an average density of 10.0 units per square mile.
